1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Thread AI (“the Service”), operated by Simple Sprout, LLC at yourthread.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Thread AI is a personal AI assistant delivered via SMS, WhatsApp, and a web application. The Service learns about the people in your life, your schedule, and your preferences over time to provide personalized assistance including meeting briefs, reminders, answers to questions, and task execution.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Thread AI. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.
4. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account, including a valid phone number.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- One account per person. Automated or bot-created accounts are not permitted.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Thread AI only for lawful, personal purposes. You may not:
- Use the Service to send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk communications.
- Use the Service for any illegal activity, including harassment, fraud, or distribution of harmful content.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its infrastructure.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.
- Use the Service to store or transmit content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
- Share your account access or use the Service on behalf of others without their knowledge and consent.
6. SMS and Messaging Terms
By providing your phone number and using Thread AI, you consent to receive SMS and WhatsApp messages as part of the Service.
- Message frequency varies based on your usage and notification settings.
- Standard message and data rates may apply. Contact your carrier for details about your messaging plan.
- Text HELP to our number for assistance.
- Text STOP to our number to opt out of SMS messages at any time. You will receive a confirmation message and no further texts will be sent unless you re-subscribe.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
7. Subscription and Billing
Thread AI offers the following subscription tiers:

- Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
- When you cancel, you retain access to your paid tier through the end of the current billing period.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.
- If your monthly AI usage budget is exhausted, assistant responses may be limited until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade your plan.
8. AI Limitations and Disclaimers
- AI responses may be inaccurate. Thread AI uses large language models that can produce incorrect, incomplete, or outdated information. Always verify important information independently.
- Thread AI is not a replacement for professional advice, including medical, legal, financial, or therapeutic counsel.
- Memories and entity resolution are best-effort. The assistant may occasionally misattribute information or fail to recognize relationships between people.
- Service availability is not guaranteed. We aim for high uptime but outages may occur.
9. Intellectual Property
- The Thread AI service, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of Simple Sprout, LLC.
- You retain ownership of all content you provide to the Service (messages, memories, connected account data).
- By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
10. Privacy
Your use of Thread AI is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
11. Termination
- You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at hello@yourthread.ai.
- We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these terms, with or without prior notice.
- Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Simple Sprout, LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via SMS or through the Thread AI web application. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
15. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
